Worker Time Review was released almost 4 years ago. It was well designed and has stayed mostly the same, with hundreds of thousands of work weeks reviewed as quickly and efficiently as possible. Today, we are adding a few new features so that Worker Time Review will allow managers to do ALL their work here, plus mark time as approved.

  • Run worker time review for multiple teams at one time
  • add time to an empty day with a single click
  • add time before or after the time already entered (helpful when a worker forgets to change jobsites!)
  • add breaks at scale – either for all days for a given worker or for all days for all workers in the selected teams
  • turn off color coding (this was done to help colorblind managers and companies where they work unusual hours so everything was colored but they didn’t care!)
  • New options to include data on employee records (drop down lists to track information for an employee, like primary branch location, payroll categorization, or anything else since the lists are customizable). Read more about employee-level settings HERE.
  • approve hours, details below

Approvals: Generally, hours in SYNCrew are accurate because it’s hard to cheat with our multi-point verification (GPS, photo, must be logged in). The fact that hours are accurate and our clients have an obligation to pay hours that are reasonably believed to have been worked meant that people mostly just paid what was in SYNCrew. Working with a few clients, we realized that some managers had relied on the apps reliability and were no longer bothering to review hours.

Owners wanted to be sure their managers were reviewing time so we created a simple way for managers to approve the hours and SYNCrew now shows whether hours were approved and, if they were, when and by whom. It’s easy to use and available on Worker Time Review today for all clients.
